Integrating SOAR Training into Social Work Education

This webinar, held on March 8, 2018, discussed a pilot project in which schools of social work integrated SOAR into their MSW programs.

Description

Representatives from four schools and departments of social work discussed how they implemented or plan to implement a pilot project in which graduate students complete the SOAR Online Course as part of their coursework and/or  assist with SSI/SSDI applications as part of their field placements. Suggestions and tips were provided for other schools interested in integrating SOAR in their social work programs.
