Kristin Lupfer, Project Director of the SAMHSA SOAR TA Center, facilitated a workshop at the National Federation of Families' 2021 Virtual Conference titled, "Reducing Homelessness for Families, Children, and Youth with Disabilities Using the SOAR Model."

This webinar, held on March 25, 2020, addressed the connections between serious mental illness, homelessness, and incarceration, and best practices for increasing access to SSI/SSDI benefits for people with serious mental illness who are reentering communities from jails and prisons. 

On this webinar, held on February 21, 2019, the SAMHSA SOAR TA Center shared new tools and resources for completing Child SSI applications, including the new SOAR Online Course: Child Curriculum. As well, SOAR Leaders discussed their strategies and plans for implementing SOAR for Children initiatives in their communities.

This webinar, held on October 24, 2018, was presented by the SAMHSA SOAR TA Center in partnership with the SAMHSA GAINS Center.  We explored how SOAR implementation in criminal justice settings can be a strong reentry tool to increase housing stability and promote post-release success.
