SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) 
  • SOAR is a national program that trains providers to assist individuals with their SSI/SSDI applications. You can find information about local leadership and providers for SOAR in your state here: https://soarworks.samhsa.gov/state-directory
Social Security Administration (SSA) 
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
  • SAMHSA maintains a list of mental health and substance abuse providers around the country. You can search for providers near you on their website: https://findtreatment.samhsa.gov
  • SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders: Call 1-800-662-HELP (4357) or find out more here: https://www.samhsa.gov/find-help/national-helpline
  • A Roadmap to Behavioral Health, is a behavioral health resource for consumers. It offers important information about mental health and substance use disorder services, including definitions of behavioral health terms and guidance on how to find a behavioral health services provider, receive treatment, and obtain follow-up care. The resource walks through the "8 Steps of the Roadmap" to offer information specific to behavioral health, and contains a glossary and links to other federal resources.
