A Toolkit for Engaging with Native Communities
This culturally tailored toolkit was developed to guide SOAR providers in establishing, growing, and sustaining their SOAR initiatives with Native communities.
About the Toolkit
The materials in the toolkit help providers determine which AI/AN communities, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations are in their service areas and offer culturally appropriate methods for contacting providers about getting involved with SOAR. The toolkit also features several culturally specific resources to enhance the cultural competence of SOAR providers, community organizations, and non-Native partners serving Native communities and clients.
