How can SOAR help?

SOAR trains providers to assist individuals with their SSI/SSDI applications.

While the SOAR TA Center does not provide direct services, we may be able to refer you to a SOAR-trained provider in your area.
You can find SOAR contacts in your area using the SOAR State Directory.

Social Security Administration

Find your local SSA Office
Create or log in to your my Social Security Account to access status of applications or appeals, benefit verification letters, replacement cards, estimates of future benefits, and other updates.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

Find mental health and substance abuse services near you at FindSupport.gov.
SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders. Call 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
Roadmap to Behavioral Health is a resource for consumers that offers important information about mental health and substance use disorder services, including guidance on how to find a provider, receive treatment, and obtain follow-up care.
